Land Surveyor (Professional and Tech Openings)

Full-time
Application Deadline: N/A

Davel Engineering & Environmental is growing, and we are looking for another motivated individual to join our survey team.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We are open to applicants at different stages of their careers, including land surveying students, recent graduates, survey field technicians, crew chiefs, survey CAD technicians, experienced land surveyors, and Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyors.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The position may be tailored around the selected person's experience, strengths, and career goals. You do not need to meet every qualification to start a conversation with us.

Depending on experience and interests, responsibilities may include performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys; operating GNSS equipment, robotic total stations, and data collectors; processing and reviewing field data; preparing survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D; assisting with Certified Survey Maps, subdivision plats, easement exhibits, and legal descriptions; researching deeds, plats, and survey records; and coordinating with field crews, project managers, clients, municipalities, and reviewing agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education, training, experience, or a strong interest in land surveying, civil engineering, geospatial technology, or a related field. The right person will be dependable, communicate clearly, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in producing accurate work.

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and modern survey equipment is helpful but is not required for entry-level applicants. A valid driver's license is required for positions involving fieldwork. Wisconsin professional licensure is valuable but is not required for every experience level.

WHY CONSIDER DAVEL?

Davel provides the opportunity to work on a varied mix of surveying and land development projects throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Our survey staff is directly involved in projects and works closely with our engineering, environmental, and development teams.

We are interested in finding the right person for our team, not simply filling a narrowly defined position. Responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth will be based on the selected person's experience and goals.

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and position responsibilities.

HOW TO APPLY

Please send a resume or a brief introduction describing your experience and interests to Scott Andersen, PLS, Lead Professional Land Surveyor and Project Manager, at [email protected] or call (920) 560-6569.

All inquiries will be handled professionally and respectfully.
